Given that Kartik Aaryan starred in “Luka Chuppi” and Kiara Advani in “Jugjugg Jeeyo” – two movies guilty of disguising traditionalism as modernity – I anticipated a similar approach in “Satyaprem Ki Katha.” However, to my surprise, I discovered that it became one of my favorite films of the year.

Let’s start with the writing, which showcases the astounding multi-layered approach of Karan Shrikant Sharma, infused with a remarkable level of empathy.
