Up for sale here is this recap kit for the Thorens TD126 MKIII turntable. This is not for the regular TD126 or the TD126 MKII, that one is here . This is just for the TD126 MKIII. The old capacitors start getting leaky or short out, resulting in speed issues. This will take care of most of the circuit-board-related issues you will see with these turntables. Leaky capacitors can damage other parts, so even if your turntable is working, you should still recap it. This kit includes replacements for all electrolytic capacitors in the TD-126 MKIII, as well as the .1 uf film capacitor. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I work on vintage stereo gear. New capacitors are Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, and one Kemet safety disc cap. I will include fairly basic instructions, but this shouldn't be too difficult. You should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. Please see my pictures for details.
