Description

This is a Vintage and VERY UNIQUE gift item for some Cinema History or Photo Equipment Collector! It appears to be an automatic “stop motion” shutter release for a film movie camera to simulate the “jerky” look of an old Silent Movie like the “Keystone Kops”! I tested it with 4 size “D” batteries (not included) and the motor turns and pushes the shutter release several times a second when you flip the switch. It also has a mini phone jack port and another port I don’t recognize that looks like you could trigger the shutter with another timing device but I’m not sure how that works. There is a tripod thread on the bottom and a camera mount on the top so it looks like you could mount it between your tripod and camera for convenience. There is also a piece of Velcro on the front possibly to hold another timing device? Definitely a unique piece of film history and appears to be in very good condition.
