Disturbing videos of teenagers attacking commuters at suburban railway stations, including the Hindu College Railway Station in Tamil Nadu, have surfaced online, sparking fear and outrage amongst the public.
The videos, widely shared on social media, show groups of teenagers armed with plastic pipes targeting unsuspecting passengers waiting for trains. In one clip, the attackers are seen laughing and casually walking away after injuring a commuter.

A victim who suffered severe injuries was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Witnesses used their mobile phones to capture the assault, providing crucial evidence to authorities.
This incident highlights growing concerns about the safety of passengers at suburban train stations. Commuters have reported an increase in violent behavior, often involving students or teenagers engaging in reckless activities, causing widespread panic.
Following the video’s circulation, the Avadi Police launched an investigation and registered a case. Three suspects have been detained for questioning. Authorities assured the public of enhanced security measures at railway stations to prevent such incidents in the future.
